Service members are able to use one month of G.I. Bill® benefits to get scuba certified and can progress as far as they want. Service members can use up to six months of G.I. Bill® benefits to become a professional.

The NAUI Master Scuba Diver Certification NES-VA013, comes with these three courses:
1. Master Scuba Diver:
The NAUI Master Scuba Diver course is for certified divers who desire additional training or orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions.
Divers must be a minimum of 15 years of age, in good health and must be previously certified as a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver or equivalent.
2. Training Assistant:
This course is to qualify the diver in the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as a training assistant during diver training sessions. The key objective is to train divers to assist others during training activities overseen by an active-status NAUI Instructor.
This course is an excellent progression toward Leadership roles.
3. Deep Diver:
This course is to provide the diver with the knowledge and skills to plan and make deep dives while minimizing risks and avoiding the need for staged decompression. Deep diving is defined as dives made between 60 and 130 feet.
This course comes with:
1. eLearning for all three courses
2. Physical Certification Cards for all three courses
3. Digital Cards for all three courses
What the student is responsible for:
Students must provide their own scuba equipment including scuba-grade mask, snorkel, fins, and botties, buoyancy compensator device (BCD), weights, tanks, wetsuit and computer.
