Brad De Geus
Brad began his scuba diving journey in 1996 while stationed in Maui, Hawaii, with the United States Coast Guard. During that time, he had the opportunity to train alongside Maui County Fire Rescue, building a strong foundation in safety, teamwork, and calm decision-making both in and around the water.
His passion for diving continued to grow, and in 1998, Brad earned his Divemaster certification. Diving soon became a family adventure shared with his wife, Rita, and their children—all of whom are divers. Together, they have explored incredible destinations and regularly coordinated group dive trips to a family-owned resort in Fiji, creating unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories along the way.
After a rewarding career in public safety, Brad retired in 2023 and began the next chapter of his diving journey. In 2024, he completed his Instructor training, allowing him to combine decades of diving experience with his dedication to teaching, leadership, and safety.
Brad brings extensive real-world experience, a steady presence, and a genuine passion for helping others discover the underwater world. Whether he is guiding a brand-new diver or sharing an adventure with an experienced group, Brad is committed to making every dive safe, comfortable, and memorable.
