Brad began scuba diving in 1996 while stationed in Maui HI with the US Coast Guard and trained with the Maui County Fire Rescue.  In 1998, he became a divemaster, and along with his wife Rita and their kids who all dive, routinely coordinated group trips to a family owned resort in Fiji.   In 2023, Brad retired from a career in public safety and completed dive instructor training in 2024.
