Learning to dive is much easier than you think. During your Open Water Course, you’ll learn important diving principles, necessary skills to dive safely, and apply these skills in an open water environment. The following information will explain our two-step process in more detail.

Learn to Scuba Dive: Step 1 – eLearning/Pool Dives Sessions
Once you’ve enrolled in your course, you’ll be issued the digital eLearning and begin reading the online material, completing the end-of-chapter section review questions, and complete the online final exam before your first in-classroom session. Digital eLearning completion varies by individual and normally takes between 3 and 5 days.

Learn to Scuba Dive: Step 2 – Open Water Dives
This is where you’ll apply various skills learned in the swimming pool, in an open water environment. Becoming an Open Water Diver requires that you complete four open water dives over two separate days.
You have 2 options for your 4 Open Water dives. note: (there is an additional fee)
Option 1: Complete your 4 Open Water certification dives with 3rd Reef Divers
Option 2: Complete your 4 Open Water Dives at the desitnation of your choice!
