Taysia’s professional diving journey began when she earned her PADI Divemaster certification in 2020. Driven by her love for the underwater world and her passion for helping others, she continued her training and became a PADI Instructor in June 2023, followed by earning her NAUI Instructor certification in February 2024.

At 3rd Reef Divers, Taysia brings experience, energy, and heart to every student and diver she works with. With a deep love for the ocean—and all things bleu—she has helped shape the shop’s diver-first, eco-conscious approach, where education, sustainability, safety, and community come first.

As Co-Founder of The Legends Dive Club, Taysia is passionate about building more than skilled divers. She is helping create a strong, connected dive family built around mentorship, consistency, adventure, and divers taking care of one another. Whether members are working toward a new certification, pushing beyond their comfort zones, or simply looking for more opportunities to dive, Taysia wants every diver to feel supported and included.

Taysia understands firsthand the peace, clarity, confidence, and sense of freedom that diving can provide. Beneath the surface, the noise of everyday life fades away, creating space to breathe, reconnect, and feel whole. Her mission is to help every diver experience that feeling—whether they are taking their first breath underwater or working toward their next major milestone.

Outside the dive shop, Taysia is a proud mom to two energetic “monster” boys and a daughter. She shares life’s adventures with her amazing boyfriend, her loyal dog Eve, her pit bull Luciana, and an orange cat named Tater Tot. When she isn’t underwater, teaching, guiding dives, or organizing Legends Dive Club events, you may find her dirt biking, camping, dancing, getting lost in a good book, watching UFC, or cheering on football, baseball, and golf.

Most days, however, you’ll find Taysia at 3rd Reef Divers—smiling, encouraging others, and ready to help turn their diving dreams into unforgettable adventures.
