Placer Cove Cleanup

Join 3rd Reef Divers for a day of diving, community, and giving back to one of our favorite local dive sites! Divers, families, and friends of all ages are welcome to help us leave Placer Cove a little less trashy than we found it.

8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Diver briefing begins promptly at 8:30 AM

We’ll be cleaning up both underwater and along the shoreline. Divers should bring their regular dive gear, cleanup bags, and sturdy gloves. Please do not pick up sharp or potentially hazardous objects—point them out to event staff instead.

We’ll also have some fun contests throughout the day, including prizes for the weirdest find, complete sets of matching items, and more!

Food & Drinks

We’ll have food available for everyone after the cleanup. Final menu details will be announced soon. Please bring your own drinks—reusable bottles and containers are strongly encouraged.

Not diving? You can still help! Shoreline volunteers, friends, family members, and kids are all welcome to join us.
